An introduction to oil paints:
A guided course, you will create palette swatches and explore layering and mark-making techniques. Make your own series of miniature abstract oils on paper to take home.
All materials provided. Two week course: Friday 7 & 14 March, 11am - 1pm, £40

Creator’s Club: Home Ed Art Class (Spring Term)
Our monthly art class is a great way to explore different mediums and techniques and meet with other creative children. Each class will have a different focus and approach to making, drawing and painting.
This class is aimed at children aged 6 upwards. No need for adults to stay.
All materials provided, all Fridays 10-11am:

Get inspired, pick up your sketch pencil and paintbrush with Laura Richards, a local artist and create your own piece of artwork to take home. Immerse yourself in nature's beauty around Bowood grounds, calm down and contemplate a moment of stillness to paint in a relaxed environment.
Laura welcomes all levels of skills to her workshop and guides you during this morning session to sketch nature before painting onto canvas. All art materials are included in the workshop cost, but you are welcome to bring your favourite sketch pad, brushes or paints. After the workshop you are welcome to wander around the House & Gardens.

Paint & Prosecco
Carve out time to be creative with this completely personalised session, themed by painting topic or enjoy more of an Art Therapy approach. Explore a variety of tools to apply paint onto a canvas surface whilst sipping away. This 2.5 hour workshop includes all painting supplies, materials and a glass or two of bubbles. Switch this up for a 'Roc & Floss' Hot Chocolate or an alternative refreshment of choice.

Bringing a variety of different art activities to children

After School Art Club
Provides children with the opportunity to get creative, explore mediums, techniques and most importantly have fun with art and their friends. Discovering new approaches to making and painting whilst pushing their own creative boundaries.
Every term we cover the following:
3D / making, drawing, painting, famous Artist / movement, mindful Art.
All materials and aprons are provided. ​Currently arting at Aloeric Primary, Melksham, Neston Primary, Corsham with a new school pending!

1-2-1 Art
My studio provides a calming space for children to immerse themselves in their art. A child-led session with an explorative approach. Suitable for both Primary and Secondary school age and any ability.

Holiday Art Club
Every half term Studio 2 opens the doors to Art Club. Children who would like to carve out time to be creative with others.
Half day workshops are 2 hours.
